Intelligence
Cognitive learning, academic knowledge, reasoning, are all brain functions. We call it intelligence. That is exactly how we define intelligence: ‘the mental capacity to acquire, understand, and apply knowledge’. It involves the ability to reason, solve problems, plan, think abstractly, and adapt to new situations. And we are obsessed by the idea that intelligence must be a brain function. Look at how natural intelligence, the intelligence within nature, is being described. ‘Natural intelligence refers to the inherent cognitive abilities and learning capacity that living organisms, particularly humans and animals, possess naturally. It encompasses the ability to perceive, understand, learn, reason, and adapt to the environment.’ It all hinges on the idea that there is a close relationship between intelligence and memory, and as the medical profession is adamant that memory is located within the brain, it stands to reason that intelligence must be a brain function, even natural intelligence. However, over the last few decades New Biology has been teaching us that every living cell has a memory and its responses to the changing environment are all rooted in that memory.
The formation of a new cell involves the creation of radio antennae on its surface. Each of these have a specific frequency that responds to a frequency, present in the environment. Through the genetic heritage of the cell, supplemented by early experiences of this new cell, it learns to pick up significant signals from the environment and it connects an appropriate response to that signal. In other words, the cell, within the limits of its creation, finds a way to best respond to its surroundings, which will give it the best chance to survive. These antennae, once formed, remain in place. Each time such an antenna gets stimulated by the said frequency the cell produces the same response. In other words, the cell remembers what it is that it is facing. Also, the more this frequency in the environment is present, the more the stimulation is being repeated, the stronger and more precise the cellular response becomes. After a time of non-stimulation the cellular ‘alertness’ for this frequency wanes. So, in spite of humans wanting to elevate the brain to the centre of our consciousness, it turns out that consciousness and memory are part of every living cell in every living organism. In fact, the human body continues to perform all its survival functions even when doctors declare someone to be brain dead. How does the body remember what to do?
The memory we require in order to live, in order to survive, is stored within our cells. Part of that ‘memory’ is the historic memory of the species. Basic indispensable traits have been written down in what we have called the genetic code and these are passed on to every cell of your body. Every cell of your body has the same genetic code, even though they may perform very different functions. – Think about this for a moment in terms of the genetic ‘treatments’ the medical profession is performing. Do they truly change the genetic code in all 30 trillion cells of the body? – The other part of that ‘memory’ is the internal reaction patterns that every cell has developed as a result of deploying a specific arsenal of antennae with which it scans its environment. These antennae, together with the fixed response to every received signal, are an important part in what the cell remembers. Both, the genetic responses and the learned antennae responses, ensure that the cell can adjust to changing circumstances in the most appropriate way that specific cell can. This system brings vibrational memory into physical reality.
The brain, in contrast, is considered to be the central part of the nervous system. It is the command centre of the central nervous system, regulating everything from vital involuntary processes (breathing, heart rate) to complex cognitive abilities (thought, memory, and emotion). However, the fight-or-flight response is virtually instantaneous, initiating within milliseconds as vibrational information bypasses conscious thought. Compare that to the known function of the nervous system. In the best instance, it takes 100 milliseconds for pain to register. Nerve impulses are extremely slow compared to the speed of energy impulses, where the electromagnetic field can propagate with a speed on the order of 50–99% of the speed of light. This means that the antennae on the cell membrane will pick up vibration signals from the environment much faster than any organic system, including the brain, can. Half the speed of light in the earth’s atmosphere is 149 851 273 metres per second. Compare this to the fastest nerve transmission of 120 metres per second! I would suggest you need the intelligence of your cells in order to survive in the outside world, not the intelligence of your brain.
However, cognitive function refers to the mental processes that allow individuals to perceive, understand, and interact with the world around them through abilities such as language, memory, learning, perception, and reasoning. The term cognition is used in psychology to refer to the manner in which the brain processes information. ‘Conscious understanding’ is the mindful, deliberate process of fully grasping a concept, motive, or situation. It combines awareness (being awake and actively observing) with comprehension (making sense of what you observe), allowing you to reflect inwardly and make intentional decisions. Humans, in contrast to all other living creatures, have the ability to make sense of their experiences, to comprehend them and to store this knowledge as a memory. The storage place for this is the brain!
Whether you like it or not, humanity is in its infancy. In terms of evolution, we are toddlers, pretending to know everything. Because we have some stored information that helps us to understand a few things, we are rapidly losing sight of the fact that real science, as opposed to ‘popular science’ promoted by media and industry, tells us that we don’t know anything. Science works with ‘theories’ as the current best explanation for life and natural phenomena, and is prepared to change their opinion when new information proves the old theory to be wrong. There does not exist ‘absolute knowledge’ in science.
And yet, we are told that human beings need to continue absorbing cognitive knowledge throughout their entire life. And they also tell us why. The knowledge-based economy, new technologies, the growing speed of technological changes and globalisation, all influence the needs to improve the population’s skills and competences. Hence, we need to go to the school where other humans teach us how they change our environment, our ‘world’, and how we should respond to it. It goes on to say that continuing education benefits individuals, communities and the country’s economy. It is obviously aimed at making individuals fit into a specific society that has been artificially created. Individuals automatically learn more about nature and about life by their continual exposure to it. But, apparently, it is of greater importance for individuals to learn what society needs them to learn, than what nature can teach them. This is cognitive learning, learning through the use of conscious thinking, which is a brain function. You can’t survive in the human world when you are brain dead!
However, living, being healthy, is not a condition that is under human control. Even when you follow all the recommendations of the medical profession that are said to ensure health, you can still become seriously ill and prematurely die. I know, it’s just bad luck! But every cell in your body does know what is required in order to live and to be in balance, to be healthy. To this effect we do not need to think, nor do we need to understand what is happening. My dog doesn’t do any of that. We just need to acknowledge what is happening as the reality of our life, and allow those cells to do what they naturally do.
If your system wants to rest, then let it rest. If it wants to vomit, then let it vomit, and wait for it to stop before putting anything in your mouth. If it wants to clear out the gut, then let the diarrhoea finish before you put anything in your digestive system. If a certain area of the body is painful as a result of overuse, then allow it to rest. If a certain area of the body is painful at rest, then begin to move it gently. If the body increases its temperature, then add some heat to the area or to the body. Never strain or force the system beyond its capacity. Take note of the warning signs your system sends out, and acknowledge that it is always right. Trust your cellular memory. Know that your conscious memory, your cognitive memory, is only of use within human society, but has very little value in nature, in natural life.
You can’t reason yourself into health.
You can allow yourself to flow into health, as health is the natural state of any living system.
